PRPL/BO

Written and directed by Joost van Ginkel.

When the capricious Bo travels to Georgia to visit the grave of her father – a famous trumpeter – she unexpectedly runs into his childhood friend Levan at the cemetery. Searching for her roots and for a better understanding of her father, she decides to continue her path by joining the mysterious Levan on his truck. Despite their age difference, they slowly and cautiously give in to the love they feel for each other while traveling through the breathtaking Georgian landscapes. Accompanied by the melancholic trumpet tones of Bo’s father, the growing trust they share eventually encourages them to reveal their darkest secrets…
